Official Withdrawals

Official withdrawals are those initiated by students who provide notification of intent to withdraw. To initiate the official withdrawal process, a student should contact the Office of Enrollment Services to obtain an Add/Drop form signed by a Student Success Coach. In addition, the Add/Drop form must be signed by the student. The signed Add/Drop form must be submitted to the Department of Admissions and Records. Students must also resolve all financial obligations with TSC. Official withdrawals must be entered into Colleague on the date the student submits an Add/Drop form. Official Withdrawals are effective as of the date entered and may not be entered at a later date and then backdated, except under special circumstances and only by the Office of Admissions and Records. The official withdrawal date is used for determining the amount of Title IV financial aid earned and to identify if any aid must be returned. A student who has attended or academically participated in courses past the 60% point in the semester will have earned 100% of the federal aid funds received.
